TOSSING THE CLUB (BALL)
2m
A Malaska Golf member says that the concept of tossing the club has really helped him in his golf swing.
Mike takes a golf ball in his hand, and when he sets up, tossing the club is similar to tossing a golf ball back behind you. Mike demonstrates this. Notice how your hand goes back. It doesn’t twist back behind you. The key is to throw the momentum back behind you and then back to the golf ball.
This is your golf swing. Toss the club back and then toss the club with momentum forward to the ball.
To summarize, it’s a toss both ways, and your body moves to accommodate it. If you make the concept of the swing simple, you will become a better player.
