Take out your a baseball bat. Get set up and just make a few swings. Feel what is happening. As the bat goes back what is your lower body doing. When your lead foot hits the ground then your lead leg pushes away from the forward motion of the bat. That is what causes acceleration. Once you have a feel for the transition and the push away. Then take out your golf club and duplicate the motions. Hit some balls feeling the sequence and the forces that you are dealing with.
