Hitting balls off your knees is a great way to start to put two things together. One the lever system.Two the path or plane that the club swings on. As you hit balls off your knees the first thing is to focus on the hinging, unhinging and rehanging of the wrists. Then as you hit the ball you must have the correct path into the ball. If you come over the plane. You will go right over the ball. Or drive it into the ground. If you drop the club under too much the club will hit the ground way before you get to the ball. You need perfect path. Once you do that you stand up and duplicate the feel relative to your upper body.
