Set up two or three balls. Set up outside the first ball. Now as you take the club back you step your trail foot back. As you reach the transition point of your swing your step your lead foot back. This makes you get your trail hip out of the way. Then your lead hip moves back to meet your trail hip. Then you hit the ball. Then just continue the swing going. Swing the club back again step your trail foot back. Then your lead foot back and hit the next ball. This drill combines many skills. It begins to build your instinct to move away from the ball.
