DAY 3 PATH
2m
Brian Gott talks about putting path on Day 3. Set up four tees slightly wider than your putter head, both behind and in front, so that you can move the putter between them. Start working on the path with one hand pushing the ball through, then proceed with two hands. As you practice this, you can move the tees closer and tighter to the heel and toe of the putter head. After you get comfortable with this, add the ball and work on hitting it through the path. It is imperative to get the clubface square. Using a line on the ball helps you get a square clubface and ensures the ball rolls end over end towards the hole. This exercise aims to get the clubface square and run the ball down the intended path into the hole.
