In the golf swing you are not moving weight you are transferring force. If you try to shift weight you will tend to sway. So it is not a weight shift. It is a force transfer. On my backswing I move force into the trail heel. Then as I change directions force goes into my lead foot. Towards the ball off the foot. As I swing through the ball my force in my lead foot goes to the lead heel. You play the game more from your heels than you do your toes.
